This Galaxy 3538 DualBay JBOD USB 2.0 Silver Aluminum External Enclosure supports two 3.5-inch SATA-I (1.5Gb/s) or SATA-II (3GB/s) Hard Disks up to 1000 gigabytes (GB) each for up to a massive 2.0 terabyte (TB) total storage capacity. This DualBay Enclosure supports two SATA-I or SATA-II hard drives that can be of different sizes, brand & RPM so you do not waste older smaller hard drives. This DualBay subsystem features a USB 2.0 interface for ultra fast data transfers of up to 480 Mbps. The unit is constructed of an aluminum alloy casing with a built-in powerful 40 x 40 mm fan which provides excellent cooling and reliable operation. Plus, its unique "Screw Less" design allows for easy hard disk installation. Also, the One Touch Backup and Secure Door with lock ensures the safety of hard drives. All you need is to install two SATA hard drives and plug it into you computer's USB port, and you're ready for maximum storage. This unit works with both PC and Macintosh. The unit is brand new in a retail box, and comes with a 12-month limited warranty. Note: HDDs are not included with this enclosure.

What is JBOD (Just a Bunch Of Disks)? The JBOD function combines a number of odd-size drives into a single unit without loss of any capacity. Avoiding Drive Waste: If you have a number of odd-size drives, JBOD will let you combine them into a single unit. For example, A 750GB and 120GB SATA hard drive would combine to a 870GB. Payment

We accept Pay-Pal, Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, Money-Order, Cashiers Check or Personal Checks written on U.S. banks. We can only directly accept credit cards issued by banks in the U.S.A. On personal checks allow 10-business days after receipt for the check to clear. We guarantee the item to be as described and will refund the purchase price if it is not as described and it is returned unopened and unused within 7 days of receipt. Please see the RMA Policy below. On shipments outside the USA, import costs, duty and taxes (if required) are paid by the buyer. Sales tax is added to any item shipped to an address in California.

Shipping

We usually ship within 24-72 hours from receipt of payment. We use FedEx, UPS and the United States Postal Service (USPS). All items are shipped Insured with the insurance fee added to the shipping costs at checkout. We will supply you with tracking numbers where available from the carrier. Unfortunately carriers sometimes take longer than their published transit time and this is beyond my control.

If you purchase two (2) or more items from us in a 72-hour period, we will ship all items in one package. This usually provides a shipping and handling discount of approximately 10% per item (if shipping costs were figured individually for each item). Shipping charges are calculated for most countries. Shipping charges for other Worldwide areas quoted as required.

Satisfaction & Return Policy

We take great care in accurately describing the condition of the products we sell. We guarantee my items not to be DOA. If you receive your item and feel that the condition is not consistent with our description, let us know immediately (within 7 days of receipt), and we'll do our best to satisfy you. If we can't make you happy you may return the item but will require an RMA as described below.

This item comes with a Limited Warranty as detailed in the listing. Returned items must include all the original packing materials and all the documentation that came with the item, or the return may be subject to a 15% re-stocking charge.
