Extend your wireless network range or create your own Hot Spot with this EnGenius EOA-3630 Business Class 802.11b/g Outdoor Wireless Multi-Function Access Point/Client Bridge/Repeater designed to provide greater outdoor WiFi coverage as a Public Hotspot, or in Point-to-Point or Point-to-Multipoint applications. This outdoor wireless device is a powerful, enhanced, multi-function, enterprise scale device. It offers 7 operational modes for different network topologies: Access Point, Client Bridge, Repeater, Router, Client Router, WDS Bridge, Access Point with WDS. The device is supplied with a 5-dBi External Omni Directional Antenna (which can provide wireless power up to 2000mW EIRP). It has an external N-type female antenna connector which allows the installation of a different upgradeable antenna to increase range and receive sensitivity and allows the device to be a scalable solution for all possible project requirements. It features output power level adjustment, narrow bandwidth selection, traffic shaping and real-time RSSI indicator. It is supplied with a complete wall/pole mounting kit and a PoE Injector and Power Adapter (24v) capable for quick outdoor installation. To ensure wireless security, it provides full coverage of latest security encryption mechanisms including WPA2, WPA, WEP and 802.1x. Stable and highly reliability design lets user not to worry about operation in harsh environment.
It operates with a wide-range of authentication and encryption standards (including WEP, WPA, WPA2, TKIP/AES and IEEE 802.1X) to enforce maximum security. And the friendly built-in operation setup and security management user interface reduces configuration complexity. This carrier-grade product is built to fulfill almost any outdoor WiFi requirement. This outdoor device comes with a PoE injector (24V) for easy outdoor deployment to meet your need for cable distance from the inside of your building to the device's outside installation (up to 300 feet or 90 meters). The Power Adapter accepts 100-240VAC input which allows it to work anywhere in the world. To use it outside of North America all you will need is a plug adapter that allows you to plug a standard USA type plug into your country's electrical mains. You can mount the device on a pole with the supplied mounting hardware. You just need to connect the router/access point to a DSL/Cable modem or switch to access the internet. Standard CAT-5 8-conductor Ethernet cable is required (which should not exceed 300 feet or 90 meters) is not included. This unit is Brand New and comes with an EnGenius 12-month limited warranty and we provide free on-line email technical support
NOTE: A User Manual is supplied on the CD which explains the setup and settings for the configuration wizard built into the unit. Please be certain that you have a good working knowledge and experience in network setup before you attempt to make changes and setup this unit. We accept Pay-Pal, Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, Money-Order, Cashiers Check or Personal Checks written on U.S. banks. We can only directly accept credit cards issued by banks in the U.S.A. On personal checks allow 10-business days after receipt for the check to clear. We guarantee the item to be as described and will refund the purchase price if it is not as described and it is returned unopened and unused within 7 days of receipt. Please see the RMA Policy below. On shipments outside the USA, import costs, duty and taxes (if required) are paid by the buyer. Sales tax is added to any item shipped to an address in California.
Shipping
We usually ship within 48 hours from receipt of payment. We use the most economical shipping methods available. You can select other shipping methods. Shipping and handling costs are listed for a single item in the Shipping Costs table in the middle of this listing. All items are shipped insured with the insurance fee added when you process your order at checkout. We will supply you with tracking numbers where available from the carrier. Unfortunately carriers sometimes take longer than their published transit time and this is beyond our control.
If you purchase two (2) or more items from us in a
48-hour period, we will ship all items in one package. This usually provides a shipping and handling discount of approximately 10% per item (if shipping costs were figured individually for each item). Shipping charges are calculated for most countries. Shipping charges for other Worldwide areas quoted as required.
Satisfaction & Return Policy
We take great care in accurately describing the condition of the products we sell. We get our merchandise from reputable suppliers, but if you receive an item and feel that the condition is not consistent with our description or if it is DOA, let us know immediately (within 7 days of receipt), and we'll do our best to satisfy you. If we can't make you happy you may return the item but will require an RMA as described below.
